This past week Matthew has said a few things that have made me laugh and I thought I would share them becuase I figure they will bring a smile to your face as well:)
On Monday we were talking about the Temples our church has. We discussed why they are so special to us, what you have to do in order to go inside and some other things. We mostly spoke about how they will get to go in once they get ready to go on their missions, but they know they will also get married in one someday. When we were finished with our discussion, the boys ran off to go and play. Right before Matthew went, he said to Sean and I that he couldn't wait to get married. He has said that before and I always love hearing that. As he ran off to play, Sean asked him who he was going to marry and he said, without hesitation, 'Mommy'. --so here is the time you say awwww, how cute:) But then, like 20 seconds later, he stopped riding his scooter and said, "nope, actually I change my mind, I am going to marry Anistan"(sp?). Sean and I just burst out laughing, it was quite funny:) (Anistan is a little girl that we go to church with)
The other funny thing happened yesterday. I was reading a story to Matthew out of a little church magazine for kids. It was about how Christ died for us all so that we could live with Him and our families again. So I started explaining how we will get to see Sean's brother who passed away before Matthew was even born. Matthew started asking all sorts of questions about death and beign buried, and I realized he has never been to a funeral and we haven't talked a whole lot about them. So he asked where Ira(Sean's brother) was right now. I told him his body was buried in Salt Lake City at the cemetary. He then asked, "well where is his head?" I was baffled by his odd question and said again, his body is buried in Salt Lake. Then I realized...I told him his 'body', but I didn't say anything about his head:) It still cracks me up thinking about that question:)
